Catherine Doyle wurde 1990 in Irland geboren. Ihre Inspiration für ihr Debut, Valentine Vendetta, holte sie sich von Shakespeares Romeo & Julia und der Mafia. Valentine Vendetta spielt im heutigen Chicago, wo ihre Mutter aufwuchs.
